SMRS Mission Statement To assist people with returning their lives to normal in tragic times by mediating an unsafe biohazardous environment left behind by a loved one. SMRS Vision Statement In the emergency services world, there is a need for a component of compassion in dealing 
with sensitive matters involving people's families in the event of an untimely or timely exit of a loved one. These people leave behind an unpleasant reminder of themselves which most families are left to deal with in the clean-up process. These families historically turn to people of authority (police, fire, and EMS workers) and ask for help. All to often they are ignored or told that they are without help in dealing with the aftermath. Sensitive Matters Recovery Specialists recognizes and acknowledges this deficiency in the emergency services and looks to remedy the problem. Through education of both the public and the emergency serivces community, SMRS will continue where traditional emergency services can't and assist these families with returning their lives and homes back to normal while providing a compassionate approach to crime and death scene cleaning through professionalism and progressive training to become the leaders in the industry. SMRS will always put compassion and service first.

Bio's on the Owners
Sensitive Matters Recovery Specialists has over 40 years of emergency services experience and dealing with emergency scenes. SMRS is a family owned and operated business. We have vast practical experience in dealing with homicides, suicides, and various other crime and disaster scenes. When you want something done right, you need to hire a professional. We ARE the professionals.
Steve Priggemeier - 25 years experience as a police officer and 5 years as an EMS worker. Steve is now retired and focused on being there for those in need of services he noticed were missing during his career as a police officer. After retiring as a police officer, Steve became involved with a carpet cleaning company and learned the "tricks of the trade" in stain remediation.
Bryce Priggemeier - 15 years in the emergency services working as a Police Officer, EMT, Firefighter, and HAZMAT Specialist. Currently employed full-time as a Career Firefighter/EMT and as a part-time 9-1-1 Dispatcher and HAZMAT Specialist. Bryce earned his bachelor's degree from Lycoming College in Criminal Justice and is currently working toward his master's degree in Public Safety Administration from Saint Joseph's University.
Erik Priggemeier - Graduate of Gloucester County College, Erik has 3 years experience in the carpet cleaning industry and is well versed in stain remediation.
